Greenhithe Volunteer Fire Brigade will hold the usual service at the War Memorial Gates on Roland Road from 09:00 (for approx. 20 minutes). All members of the public are invited to join in. Current or ex-service personnel are welcome to join the ‘march’ to the park from the Fire Station…assemble 08:45 for a 08:50 departure.
A friendly reminder to the traffic users of Roland Road…please drive extra carefully on the morning of the 25th as there will be a number of people congregated for the ANZAC Day service. Please especially avoid driving through at approx. 09:15 as a sign of respect when the Last Post will be played. Your cooperation is much appreciated.
