Connected and Emergency Ready
Sunday April 11 from 4 to 5:30pm at 12 Greenhithe Road. Refreshments provided.
This workshop is designed for the Greenhithe Neighborhood Support Street Contacts but others are welcome to attend and learn if they are interested.
Learn what to do before, during and after an emergency to stay safe and recover. Topics include key local risks, emergency resilience, community resilience, personal resilience, recovery plus a CPR and defibrillator demonstration and opportunity to practice.
The presenter is Dr Amanda Mitchell. She works in Urgent Care and has volunteered in disaster areas and has been part of the team who has created this plan, along with leaders from the local Residents Association, School, Fire Station and Auckland Emergency Management.
