Thank you for your patience with this lockdown. Please stay home! Only go out for essential needs. Wash your hands. Be kind.
Please get vaccinated. It is very easy now. You can currently get vaccines without a booking in Albany and Birkenhead. Just go onto the official vaccination website.
There is an increase in crime and it even happens in the middle of the day when we are all home. The schools are closed. No one should be there. There is FB chatter about cars driving slowly around. Please take photos and make those 105 calls (or 111 if a crime is actively happening).
Your emotional and mental wellbeing is important. It is normal to feel stressed or lonely when you are in your bubble, but there are some things you can do to feel better.
Even if you are not sick you may be feeling anxious about COVID-19. This is normal.
Reach out to your family and whānau, friends and workmates. Sharing how we feel and offering support to others is important.
If you or someone you know is struggling right now, there is free help available.
