Kia ora Greenhithe

We are coming to the end of our street BBQ season and I have been heartened to hear of all the street BBQs that happened in Greenhithe over summer. Check out the Rame Road event below. Can I make a suggestion – why can’t this be all year round? I heard that Pitoitoi Ave did a tapas progressive evening one winter… what a great idea. Any excuse to meet your neighbours in a positive way is a good one.

Being a police officer is cool. If you are interested in making policing a career, can I suggest you check out Community Patrol on cpnz.org.nz   You will see them driving around Greenhithe. This is a wonderful volunteer organisation that adds to our community safety and provides a taste of what it is like to be a police officer.

As we approach another long weekend, can you please drive safely!

Here are the numbers to call if anything suspicious is seen – call 111 if crime is happening now. Call 105 if it has already happened or call me on 0211914227.
